Major Gifts Program
Sault Area Hospital Foundation's Major Gifts program and Business & Community Gifts program is part of the Annual Giving Campaign, raising funds for priority equipment needs of our Hospital.
Our work is never done at the Sault Area Hospital Foundation -- year after year there are new equipment needs. We are the only source of funding for medical equipment purchases for Sault Area Hospital. Funds donated to the Foundation do not go towards operational costs of the Hospital.
The Sault Area Hospital Foundation is committed to making a significant difference in advancing health care in our community and district. Contributing to the Major Gifts program, the Sault Area Hospital Foundation is eager to demonstrate our appreciation for your contribution in the most appropriate manner through our donor recognition program.
The Sault Area Hospital is proud to recognize the following businesses, events, service clubs and other groups who presented gifts of $5,000 or more during the 2008-2009 Annual Giving Campaign. (April 1, 2009 - March 31, 2010).

The following businesses generously donated $10,000 to our Annual Campaign this past year.

Quality Patient Care
To ensure quality patient care is available for all - now and in the future.
What this means is that surgeons, specialists and nurses do not have access to the best and the newest equipment available. Our physicians and technicians must have this equipment - because technology is improving so rapidly and better means of saving lives are available.
The Sault Area Hospital Foundation is committed to making a significant difference in advancing health care in our community, will focus on identifying new donors who have the capacity to give gifts over time greater than $10,000. Individuals, corporations, local business, foundations, service clubs and other organizations will be asked to help us meet this challenge. This new initiative will be an ongoing process and will compliment our already existing Annual and Planned Giving Programs.
The Sault Area Hospital Foundation was established to financially support capital projects and the on-going funding of new and replacement medical equipment. The Foundation is registered as a charitable non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible and official receipts are issued for income tax purposes.
