What is Renal Dialysis?
Healthy kidneys clean your blood by removing excess fluid, minerals, and wastes. Renal failure (kidney failure) is a situation in which the kidneys fail to function adequately causing fluid retention, a rise in blood pressure, toxin build up, and lack of red blood cells (known as anemia).Renal dialysis is the act of removing the wastes, minerals, and excess fluids from a patient's blood using a machine known as a dialysis unit.
